Our mission

Free online tools. No uploads. No signups. No limits. We believe everyday digital tasks — compressing a video, merging PDFs, resizing a photo — should not require uploading your private files to someone else's server, creating an account, or hitting a paywall halfway through.

So ToolNest does something the big tool sites don't: everything runs on your device. Modern browsers are powerful enough to compress video, manipulate PDFs and edit images locally — so that is exactly how the site is built.

How it works

The site is built with open-source technology: Next.js for the interface, FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly for video, pdf-lib for PDFs, and your browser's native imaging engine for pictures.27 tools are live today, with more added regularly.
